MDT's Got Talent - Zoomathon Heading

MDT’s Zoomathon Made the Magic Happen

by Carol Kerr, VP, Marketing & Communications

While our employees are sheltering in place and continuing to give our clients the utmost in service, it is also important to MDT that we continue to do our very best for our team members’ spirits and also to serve our communities. With these in mind, we held our first ever Talent Show Zoomathon! This event was an opportunity for our employees and their family members to perform a talent via Zoom, and those of us in the viewing audience donated money to select charities in honor of the performances.

We had singers, dancers, instrumentalists, comedians, even a hair beading demonstration. And would you believe those crazy “Tiger King” people welcomed everyone to the show!

In addition, MDT would match – dollar for dollar – the total of all employee donations. The camaraderie generated by this event was phenomenal! Virtual applause and kudos blew up our Slack all staff messaging channel! The entire event exceeded everyone’s expectations! Employees’ donations reached $10,000 and, with MDT’s matching contribution, a total of $20,000 was distributed among these 4 charities: #FeedTheFrontLine – ezCater; Gleaners Food Bank – Detroit, MI; American Red Cross – Great Falls, MT; and American Red Cross – Helena, MT.

Enjoy the photos below.

Congratulations to all of our performers! You made the magic happen!!
