MDT had the privilege to attend the 2023 Montana Credit Unions Annual Power Up Conference & Expo. “The Roaring Twenties” was this year’s theme, and participants enjoyed an event full of excellent education sessions, networking opportunities, fundraisers, and vendor hall. As a golfer myself, I was grateful to enjoy a day of golf at Signal Point Golf Club in Fort Benton. The course was beautiful, and the weather did not disappoint.
The conference hosted a retirement celebration dinner and entertainment in honor of Tracie Kenyon, MCU’s retiring president and CEO. During the vendor hall, many clients stopped by to visit. Great conversations were had and it’s always an enjoyable time seeing our clients in person. We were ecstatic to have our very own client Park Side Credit Union win the MDT prize. Congratulations again, Zac Wood!

The sold-out event was hosted at the Manor House in Littleton, Colorado. The evening included food, drinks, a raffle and drawing, tours of the house, networking with credit union staff and members, and the annual meeting and a presentation hosted by Mike Williams, CEO and Jeff Hagar, Chairman of the Board. Afena Credit Union celebrates branch opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Andrea Britten, CRM, was invited by the CEO, Karen Madry, to attend Afena’s new main office ribbon-cutting ceremony. Afena FCU has made it their mission to invest in their community. One way that they have done so is by building a beautiful new branch on a formerly blighted property. The mayor, staff, members from the community, vendors and more attended this wonderful event. Congratulations again, Afena and look forward to seeing your continuous support within your communities!

The conference included The Corks for a Cause-Fundraiser, networking, food, and drinks. Congratulations to Edward Ulmer II, the Chairman of the Board at United Financial, who won the MDT prize. It was wonderful to see all our clients during the MDT E3 annual conference. This was a record-breaking year for client registrations, and we are so incredibly grateful for those who attended.
