Winter 2023 Corner Office Update
By Larry Nichols, President and CEO
Greetings, all!
Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a lovely holiday season, whether it was spent eating beautifully decorated cookies, watching your favorite holiday movie, or spending time with loved ones.
Congrats on making it out of budgeting season no worse for wear. We hope you’ve accounted for MDT events this year! Registration is well underway for the MDT CEO Forum, which will take place March 13-15, 2023 at the Charleston Place Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina. The event will be facilitated by Lee Wetherington, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy for Jack Henry, and Nicole Harper, Director of Corporate Strategy for Jack Henry. And special guests Shanon McLachlan, President of Symitar, and Greg Adelson, President/COO of Jack Henry, will also be in attendance to network with you all.
MDT ended 2022 on a high note by hosting our first annual Innovation Celebration Day. As many of you know, we’ve had an Innovation Team and hosted an internal Innovation Challenge for the past four years, so we figured, why not dedicate a day to celebrating all things innovation?! Cheryl Kuch, President and Principal Consultant of Capability Creators and longtime supporter of the MDT Innovation Team, inspired us all with a presentation at the event. And, the Innovation Team even treated the entire staff to a delicious Thanksgiving lunch with all the fixins’!
Over the last few months, we were thrilled to promote several members of our team. Jessica Barefoot is now the Manager of Professional Services; Christina Yates added Training to her belt in addition to Product Management; and Tracie Loudermilk is now Senior Manager Project Management and Consulting Services. We now have several positions open at MDT and are looking for more hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our crew!
Hope you all are having a wonderful start to your New Year! Whether you’re dusting off your at-home exercise equipment, cutting back on the sweets, or expanding your horizons with new books, fingers crossed your New Year’s resolutions are still in full swing. I look forward to all that we will accomplish together this year!
Cheers,
Larry
