Winter 2024 Product Updates

MDT’s Product Management Office works to continually bring you both new and updated product and service solutions to enhance your credit union, and we aim to diligently communicate our ongoing progress and roadmaps so you can plan accordingly. Through internal development and partnerships with third-party providers, we analyze, prioritize, validate and deliver new product offerings. Below is a recap of some of the important information we’ve shared, as well as some of the products and partnerships we have been working on in Q4 of 2023.

Banno Spanish Support

Banno digital banking mobile and online experiences are now available in Spanish. Banno Spanish Support makes it easy for members to receive financial services in the Spanish language while maintaining an intuitive user interface. From initial login to depositing checks and making bill payments, users can navigate through the application in the Spanish language. We are currently working through our beta. Please keep an eye out for further communications on this new offering.

JHA PayCenter and FedNow

MDT now has two clients live with both FedNow and RTP Send through JHA PayCenter. JHA PayCenter is the Jack Henry and MDT go-forward solution for faster payments. JHA PayCenter supports Zelle, RTP and FedNow. This cloud-based solution provides streamlined, secure payment capabilities for sending and receiving near real-time payment transactions through Jack Henry’s Symitar core system and related complementary solutions.

The Federal Reserve Banks developed the FedNow Service to facilitate nationwide reach of instant payment services by financial institutions. Through financial institutions participating in the FedNow Service, businesses and individuals can send and receive instant payments at any time of day, and recipients have full access to funds immediately. Banno Video Chat with Screen Sharing

Banno’s video chat with screen sharing allows credit unions to talk face-to-face with members and directly help them with issues by sharing their screen to walk through solutions. This Banno add-on is accessed within Banno Conversations. Video chat is available in both mobile and online platforms. Screen sharing is available via PC only.
